Why not create a catch all so someone can embed a video without you having to manually add all the niche video sites?

you can use attributes on the tag to assign the values.

I would like to see a feature,
that automatically embeds ALL the
videos of a Youtube username
into an already opened Topic
with all the comments from youtube and the
videocomments.

So if I make a new topic ( board) in SMF for
each of my Youtube friends of youtube users
I like to show the videos of them in my
forum, this would be great, that their new
videos are automatically added, if they will
post a new video on their youtube channel.

Could something like this be integrated into
Aeva Media or would this need
a Cronjob script that runs each day and checks for
new videos of the Youtube users I want to import ?

Would be great, if we could get such an automatic import
feature for youtube videos.

This can be done with a YT-playlist.
Embed a YT-playlist into a thread/post.
User uploads video to YT - choosing "add to my playlist" and the embed is updated also.

No need for a cron-job and your user can control which of his videos should be shown in the thread.

Hmm,
does the new added video also appear as a new posting then
or will it only be in the first posting with the first video ?

YouTube Playlists are not too good, cause you can´t really see at an instance how many
videos they contain and what the comments for the video were posted, etc...

I really would like to have the option, that each new video will be posted as
a new reply to the first video in SMF, so all videos will be
displayed under each other inside a thread and in the new posting
should also be the info-text from the YT movie.

Would be cool if one could just give in a YT username and the tool
will import all og his videos into one thread one video after each other
with all the text infos and maybe also with all
the comments to it from youtube.
